Wash pork belly well, poke some holes on it with a fork, drain well from water, mixed well with dark soy sauce,oyster sauce, sesame oil, ground pepper, hua tiao wine and salt, marinate for 1 hour
Heat up 2 tbsp oil, saute garlic, star anise, cinnamon and galangal till aromatic, then pan fry pork belly till fragrant
Add water, rock sugar and bring to a boil, cover, lower to small flame, simmer till pork turns soft and tender
Mixed well with 1 – 2 cups of Huiji Health Tonic, serve
