Huiji Honey Char Siew (Roast Meat)

Ingredients:

  • Streaky pork 600g
  • Huiji Honey 60g
  • Coriander (cut into sections)
  • 1 stalk
  • Shallots (flattened) 40g
  • Garlic (flattened) 40g

Seasonings:

  • White sugar 50g
  • Soya Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Black Soya Sauce 1 tps
  • Sesame Oil 1 tps
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Char Siew flour ¼ tsp
  • Water 60 ml

Method:

  1. Wash and cut pork into strips, place in bowl.
  2. Add Huiji Honey, shallot, garlic, seasonings, mix well and marinate for 4 hours.
  3. Roast pork in oven for approx. 25 minutes at 180 degrees C.
  4. Or use nano ceramic wok to fry pork till fragrant, remove and add coriander and serve.
