Braised Garoupa & Onions with Huiji Health Tonic

Ingredients

  • Garoupa fillet with skin: 2pcs
  • Purple onions: 2 pcs
  • Grated garlic: 1 tsp
  • Huiji Waist tonic: 5 tbsp
  • Water: 120ml
  • Sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Light soy sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Dark soy sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil: 1 tsp

 

Method

  1. Coat some salt and pepper onto the garoupa fillet.
  2. Sautee the fillet and onions until golden brown.
  3. Add in the grated garlic, 120ml water, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soya sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 5 tbsp Huiji Waist tonic.
  4. Let it cook for a while.
  5. Remove from pan and serve it hot.
  6. Garnish with spring onions.
