Huiji Steamed Salted Egg Yolk Toufu

Ingredients:

  • Salted Egg Yolk – 4 pcs
  • Cylinder form Tofu – 1 tube
  • Huiji Health Tonic – 1 cup (Huiji measuring cup)
 

Seasoning:

  • Fresh Milk – 1 tbsp
  • Oyster Sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Apple Vinegar – ½ tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp

 

Methods:

  1. Halve salted egg yolk, reserve for use later
  2. Cut cylinder form tofu into 8 even sections, arranged flat on a deep plate
  3. Using a teaspoon, dig a shallow hole in the center of each piece of tofu, then arrange halved salted egg yolk on top
  4. Send into a boiling steamer, steam for 5 mins over high flame
  5. Open steamer lid, pour in pre-mixed seasoning, cover lid, steam for another 5 mins, remove
  6. Drizzle one cup of Huiji Health Tonic over it, serve
